Alice Hendriks pianist

Conductor, pianist and vocal coach Alice Hendriks studied piano and orchestral conducting at the Conservatoire of Maastricht. For ten years she worked as an accompanist at the Drama Academy in Maastricht. She was for several years conductor of the Maastricht Music School Symphony Orchestra and worked as a repetiteur for various Opera Zuid productions. From 2000 tot 2012 She was the conductor of Avanti Symphony Orchestra in Maastricht. At present she works as the repetiteur for the annual master class for opera singers, Acting For Singers, at the “Jekerstudio” in Maastricht and works with internationally renowned soloists.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

She is the conductor of the vocal ensemble Cantori La Vera and of the Sittard Oratorio Society. Works that she performed with this choir, soloists and the Limburgs Symphony Orchestra include Die Schöpfung by J. Haydn, Hohe Messe by J.S. Bach, Te Deum by A. Dvorak, Misa Tango by Luis Bacalov, Gloria by F. Poulenc, Stabat Mater and Peacemakers by K. Jenkins. In Erkelenz she conducted a performance of Haydn’s Jahreszeiten with an orchestra made up of members of the Gürzenich–WDR radio orchestra. In December 2008 she conducted a joint concert for the the 250th anniversary of the LSO (Limburgs Symphony Orchestra) and Kumulus in a packed theater aan het Vrijthof, where jong musicians could get to know professional musicians.
